Sketchy Friends
A social drawing game for people who cannot draw.
Not yet available to download. Progress shows up in the devlog.
Stewry is a game you play alone, calmly. Sketchy Friends is the opposite corner of the studio: short, loud, sociable rounds built around what you and your friends come up with on the spot.
It is in active development and not yet available to download.
Where it is up to
The foundations are in: accounts, a friends list, player-created content, an in-game currency, cosmetics and a battle pass. What is still being worked out is the part that matters most — whether a round is genuinely funny with four people in a group chat, and how quickly it gets there.
That is not something a design document settles, so it is being built and replayed rather than specified.
The account promise
Same principle as everything else here: anonymous accounts are the default. You can play without handing over personal information, and a profile is something you opt into rather than something demanded at the splash screen.
Cosmetics and the battle pass are cosmetic. They are not a second difficulty setting, and they will not be sold as one.
Account deletion is available in-app from day one — Settings → Account → Delete Account — and the data deletion request page documents exactly what that removes.
Following along
There is no release date to give yet, and one will not be invented to fill the gap. Progress shows up in the devlog, and the newsletter goes out when there is something real to say.
