Data Deletion — Broken Umbrella Games (by Afzaal Ahmad Zeeshan)
This page describes how to delete your account and associated data for apps and games published by Broken Umbrella Games (by Afzaal Ahmad Zeeshan). Unless otherwise specified in the app or the game itself, the following is the data deletion instruction for users or their parents (in case of a minor).
This policy applies to all Broken Umbrella Games titles, including:
- Sketchy Friends (Google Play & App Store — package
com.daniyalahmadrizwan.sketchyfriends) - Snap Cards Match
- Distant Ride Fail
- Cubicleship
- Crash Carnival
- Grids – Visual Matching Game
- Stewry – Infinite Runner
Delete your data from inside the app
Many of our apps let you delete your account and data directly, without contacting us. In Sketchy Friends, on both Android and iOS:
- Open Sketchy Friends.
- Go to Settings (the gear icon).
- Under the Account section, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted. You will see: “This will permanently delete your account and all game data. This cannot be undone.”
Your account and the data linked to it are then deleted from our systems. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What metrics/analytics we use?
In our apps, we do collect some information to track the technical performance of the app and any optimization areas. Depending on the app, this may include services such as Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics), Firebase Authentication, Google AdMob for advertising, and Unity Cloud Services. Sketchy Friends specifically uses Google Firebase and Google AdMob.
Note: you can disable the analytics and metrics from the app and we will not collect any custom information. The SDKs and analytics privacy and terms of conditions are governed by their privacy policies.
For Google services (Firebase and AdMob), please consult the Google Privacy Policy and the Firebase privacy documentation. For Unity Cloud Services, please consult their privacy policies. We will add links to other privacy policies that may apply to you. Check the SDKs and services used in the app for any extra policy you should be aware of.
How to request data deletion?
You can contact us on deletion-request@brokenumbrellagames.com and we will take the request and delete the data.
To support this process, we expect that you share some account information such as currency available, last action performed, any in-app purchase made, to validate the request is valid.
If there are reasons of doubt that the request is fake or not coming from the rightful owner, we have the right to reject the request. Out of goodwill gesture, we will try to delete or hide the data as much as possible.
What is deleted and what may be retained
- Deleted: your account and profile, game data (currency, progress, battle pass, cosmetics, friends), content you created, and custom analytics tied to your account.
- Retained only as required by law: purchase and transaction records may be kept for tax and fraud-prevention obligations, then deleted. Aggregated, anonymized statistics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
- Timeframe: in-app deletion is effective immediately; email requests are typically processed within 30 days.
Note: by default, we set up anonymous accounts, so if you do not wish to create a personal account or share your details with us, you can continue to use the anonymous account which cannot be traced back to you. For anonymous accounts, we will accept the deletion requests. We will delete the data for anonymous accounts based on operational reasons only.
